Q. How do you charge for recruiting services?
A. We work on a contingency based fee agreement. The agreement must be
signed by a hiring authority to initiate a search. Our fee is based on a
percentage of the candidate’s first year’s compensation. Because the fee
is contingent, you don’t have to pay us to get started. You only pay us
if you actually hire one of the candidates we present to you.
Q. Why should I work with a recruiter?
A. Newspaper classifieds and Internet job boards tend to surface many
candidates who are not happy, unqualified or unemployed. As a result,
companies are increasingly turning to professional recruiters to solve
their personnel needs. Our responsibility is to bring out the best
candidates to you, so we take the time to personally guide you through
the hiring process.
Q. Who do you recruit?
A. We recruit candidates who are actively employed by other moving and
storage companies. At the beginning of every search we will ask you if
there is a specific place you would like us to avoid recruiting from.
While we will NOT recruit candidates from ANY of our clients, we will
recruit from all other sources within the industry.
Q. Do you have any references?
A. While we keep all information confidential regarding who our clients
are, we would be happy to provide a list of references upon request.
Q. What positions have you worked on recruiting for?
A. We have placed people as Presidents, Vice Presidents, Regional
Managers, General Managers, Directors, Sales Managers, Operations
Managers, COD Sales, O&I Sales, National Account Sales, High Value
Products and Third Party Sales, International Sales, Local and Long
Distance Operations Personnel, Dispatchers, Warehousemen, Accounting
Personnel, Customer Service Professionals, Human Resources, and the list
goes on. The only positions we do not recruit for at this time are
Drivers and Crew Members.
Q. What do you need from me to work on my search?
A. The most important thing we need from you is a clear line of
communication. We ask that you communicate with candidates directly
through us and that you take advantage of our knowledge and experience
in putting together a job offer and walking a candidate through the
stages of becoming your new employee. At the end of a placement we will
require a copy of the written job offer from you.
Q. Do you check references on candidates?
A. We will check whatever references you want checked on a candidate. We
ask that you do not jeopardize a candidate’s confidentiality by checking
references on your own without the candidate’s consent. Because most of
our candidates are working for your competitors, their identity cannot
be compromised.
